PAWPAWS Terms of Use

Introduction 

This document serves as the Terms and Conditions for Pawpaws ("Platform"), a proprietary technological platform facilitating the connection between users ("Users") and third-party service providers ("Service Providers"). The Platform operates under the legal entity of PAWPAWS, with its principal place of business in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

 

PAWPAWS functions exclusively as an intermediary technology platform and is not engaged in the direct provision or retail of pet-related services or products. The Platform's role is confined to enabling access and interaction between Users and Service Providers. It is crucial to recognize that Pawpaws neither endorses nor assumes liability for the services, products, or transactions conducted through the Platform. The accountability for the quality, legality, and overall customer satisfaction of these services and products resides solely with the respective Service Providers.

 

By accessing and using the Platform, Users hereby acknowledge and agree that any engagement with Service Providers through PAWPAWS is governed by the terms and conditions, policies, and legal stipulations set forth by those individual Service Providers. Furthermore, such interactions are subject to compliance with UAE Federal Consumer Laws and any other applicable regulations.

 

Users of Pawpaws are advised to thoroughly review and consider the Service Providers' terms and conditions, including but not limited to, their cancellation, refund, and return policies. PAWPAWS disclaims any responsibility for the enforcement, execution, or management of such policies or for any loss, damage, or inconvenience experienced by Users as a result of their transactions with Service Providers.

 

This Agreement is intended to clarify the legal relationship between Pawpaws and its Users, emphasizing the Platform's role as a facilitator rather than a direct participant in the commerce of pet-related services and products.

 

Users are encouraged to review this Agreement in its entirety to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their legal rights and obligations when utilizing the Pawpaws Platform. Your use of Pawpaws constitutes an implicit agreement to all terms and conditions.

 

By downloading and utilizing our Platforms, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before the use of any PAWPAWS website and mobile applications (the "Service") operated by PAWPAWS ("us", "we", or "our").

 

Our Platforms are diverse, additional terms or service requirements (including age requirements) may apply from time to time. Additional terms will be available with the relevant Platforms, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those Platforms.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Customer in the most appropriate manner. You must adhere to any policies made available to you within the Platforms. Do not misuse our Platforms in any way, including but not limited to interference with our Platforms, accessing them using a method other than the interface and instructions that we provide, or engaging in activities such as introducing malicious software, collecting or harvesting data without authorization, excessive use of automated tools, modification or redistribution of content, service attacks, unauthorized copying of content, or any other activities that compromise the integrity or security of our Platforms.

 

You may use our Platforms only as permitted by law, including applicable laws and regulations. We may suspend or cease providing access to our Platforms at any time if you fail to comply with our terms or policies, or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.

 

Using our Platforms does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Platforms or the content you access. You may not use any content from our Platforms whatsoever unless you obtain written permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law. These terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used in our Platforms. Do not remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Platforms.

Our Platforms are available on mobile devices. Do not use such Platforms in a way that distracts you and prevents you from obeying traffic or safety laws.

By engaging with Pawpaws, you hereby agree to adhere to these guidelines.

 

RESPECT AND CIVILITY

Engage with others respectfully. Avoid any form of harassment, bullying, or use of derogatory language.

No Discrimination or Hate Speech: Content that promotes hate, discrimination, or intolerance is prohibited. This includes speech targeting race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.

 

CONTENT STANDARDS

Share only content that is appropriate for a diverse audience and complies with UAE federal laws. Explicit or graphic content is not permitted.

Authenticity and Accuracy: Provide accurate information. Impersonation or deceptive behaviour is not tolerated. Fake profiles or misleading information violate our community trust.

 

PRIVACY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of others. Do not share personal information without consent in accordance with UAE federal laws.

Share content that you own or have permission to use and possess the intellectual property rights thereof. Do not infringe upon the copyrights of others.

 

SAFE AND LEGAL ACTIVITIES

Do not support or engage in illegal activities, including the sale of prohibited items. Respect laws governing trade and commerce.

We strictly prohibit content that exploits minors or threatens to share intimate images of others.

While we encourage robust discussion, targeting individuals to degrade or shame them is not allowed. Constructive criticism should be offered in a respectful manner.

 

REPORTING AND ENFORCEMENT

Should you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. PAWPAWS will review and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension or legal actions.

Attempt to resolve misunderstandings directly with community members. In cases of copyright or trademark infringement, appropriate legal channels should be followed.

 

UPDATES AND REVISIONS

These guidelines are subject to change and may be updated to adapt to new community needs or legal requirements. Users will be notified of changes PAWPAWS deems significant, all other changes will be made without notice, form time to time.

PAWPAWS and its affiliates provides you with a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you by PAWPAWS and its affiliates as part of the Platforms. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the features of the Platforms as provided by PAWPAWS, in the manner permitted by these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platforms or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

Should you are use our Platforms on behalf of a business, that business accepts these terms. It will hold harmless and indemnify PAWPAWS and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, suit or action arising from or related to the use of the Platforms or violation of these terms, including any liability or expense arising from claims, losses, damages, suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees.

 

Cancellation Policy

PAWPAWS operates as a technological platform, connecting users with various pet-related service providers. As such, our role in the cancellation of services or products is governed by the policies of the individual service providers listed on our platform. All users are advised to review the specific cancellation policies of the respective service provider at the time of booking or purchase. These policies are in compliance with UAE Federal Consumer Laws. In the event of a cancellation, users must contact PAWPAWS immediately to initiate the process. PAWPAWS shall not be liable for any terms or conditions imposed by the service provider or any losses incurred as a result of such cancellations.

 

Modifying and Terminating our Platforms

We frequently amend and improve our Platforms. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether.

 

The Customer and PAWPAWS have the right to terminate any Service Agreement for any reason whatsoever. PAWPAWS may also stop providing access to our Platforms to you or add or create new limits to our Platforms at any time, without notice.

 

Refunds Policy

PAWPAWS facilitates a connection between users and various pet service providers, each of whom maintains their own refund and return policies in accordance with UAE Federal Consumer Laws. As Pawpaws is solely a technological intermediary, all refund or return requests must be submitted to PAWPAWS and the respective service provider has the right to decide the final outcome. Users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the specific refund and return policies of the service provider at the time of purchase or booking. PAWPAWS bears no responsibility for the outcomes of such transactions or the enforcement of any provider's policies. Our platform remains committed to supporting users in navigating these policies by providing necessary contact information and guidance where possible.

 

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.

Force Majeure
